Beach House Master Bath
The light in New England is soft and often feels just a bit out of focus and dreamy. A subdued palate of soft blues and grays helped capture the vibe. Texture brought the vibe to life with the use of a mixture of glass, mosaic, marble and laser cut stone wainscot. The stone ripples are reflective of the water just beyond the home. We moved and added windows to allow a bather to actually enjoy the beautiful view outside. We were able to re-use the original cherry vanity cabinets but broke them apart to interrupt the level of vanity with a make-up table in the middle. We added sconces to the vanity mirrors and, at right, deep cabinets to fill the void space under the slope of the roof.
